Working principle

1. The drive unit drives the scraping device to reciprocate along the truss structure.
2. The scraper, scraper plate and scraper beam scrape the sludge or scum from the bottom of the pool into the sludge collecting device.
3. The sludge or scum is discharged to the subsequent treatment facility through a sludge collection pipe.

Selection of truss sludge scraper

Pool shape and size

• Pool shape: The common types of truss scraper include rotary type, straight type and double-arm type, and the suitable type should be chosen according to the shape of the pool. For example, for round pools, rotary truss scraper is usually chosen; for square or rectangular pools, straight-line or double-arm truss scraper can be chosen.
• Pool size: the size of the truss scraper should be matched with the pool size. For example, the span of the scraper should be slightly smaller than the width of the pool to ensure that the scraper can cover the entire bottom of the pool.

Water quality

• Sludge concentration: Sludge concentration will affect the scraping efficiency of truss scraper. For high sludge concentration sedimentation tank, truss scraper with strong scraping ability should be selected.
